A New Versatile Robotics Simulation Architecture
The OpenRobots Simulator software is a project driven by several European robotics labs. It aims at the development of a new versatile robotics simulation architecture for the research community.
One of the main design features is not to reinvent the wheel: it relies heavily on Blender for the rendering and physical simulation and can be connected to external open-source robotics frameworks like ROS, Yarp or Player for the communication with the robots.
We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used OpenRobots Simulator and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
