While it isn’t too difficult to monitor your Airpods’ battery level in macOS, the process can also be made simpler. Normally, you need to click the Bluetooth menu bar icon, assuming it’s enabled, highlight the earbuds, and then view the information in the submenu.

AirPods Battery Monitor‘s developer aimed to simplify this whole operation and allow you to keep an eye on the device’s battery life at all times. This app is also found in the menu bar, just like the macOS Bluetooth symbol, but there are a couple of key differences.

First off, the charge levels of the left and right earbuds are displayed directly in the menu bar. You don’t need to click anything to see their current battery life. If you aren’t in the habit of checking them often, this can help you notice when they are running low. Even monitoring the case’s battery life should be easier with this app. All you need to do is click the menu bar symbol and the info will be right there.

You can connect and disconnect your AirPods at any time, and just a small icon will be visible in the menu bar when disconnected. The indicator for the left and right earbuds shows up only after connecting the device.

We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used AirPods Battery Monitor for Mac and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
