Seamlessly change the size of the text for the menus, message box or other similar elements using this simple and straightforward app
Although it was removed with build 1703, with the launch of the 1809 build of Windows 10, you have the possibility to change the font size for all message boxes, menus, icons, and tooltips, just to name a few. You can take advantage of the new feature and make the information displayed on your desktop easier to read by accessing the settings.
System Font Bold is a tool that makes managing the Windows settings associated with editing the font size considerably easier. On top of that, the app allows you to add Bold, a feature that is not yet implemented for Windows 10.
Allows you to select the precise items for changing the font
The application does not require installation, so you can start using it as soon as you download it to your computer. The interface is rather rugged but user-friendly and unlikely to give you any troubles.
The GUI consists of a single window where you can select the elements you want to modify, namely title bar, menu, message box, palette title, icon, and tooltip. In addition, you can modify the desktop icon spacing – both horizontally and vertically – so that data is easier to find.
While it does not have an option to change the text size, it provides a quick link to the Windows settings where you can make it bigger. As you probably guessed, you can reset all modifications at any given time with a click of a button.
A straightforward tool that makes text easier to read
Regardless of whether you are unable to find the shortcuts you need quickly, are working with a relatively small monitor or are simply unable to read the information displayed on your monitor without making an effort, then System Font Bold could come in handy. Not only does it allow you quick access to the Windows settings, but you can also highlight some menus or text in Bold.
We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used System Font Bold and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
