For most of us, our browser’s new tab pages are mostly a redundant black space that doesn’t really do a lot. For others, though, they’re the perfect opportunity to be distracted by possible new wallpapers, or quotes, or a collection of links to websites they’ve recently visited.

However, with the help of a good extension, an unimpressive and seemingly useless new tab page can become the center point for increasing one’s productivity.

SuiteTab is a fine example. It’s a Google Chrome extension that provides a fresh look for your favorite browser’s new tab page. However, the main advantage of SuiteTab is the fact that it also provides you with various useful productivity features such as a to-do checklist, a section for note-taking, various bookmark options, live countdowns, a live weather display, and even customizable backgrounds.

Is it worth trying out?

It might sound a bit “gimmicky,” however, SuiteTab is actually a very well-designed extension. It brings a sleek, grey-themed (please note that you can also change the default color of the background) quite functional environment to your otherwise useless new tab page.

Not only does it provide all the aforementioned productivity tools, but it’s also surprisingly user-friendly and customizable. For example, from the menu located on the bottom-right side, you can adjust the zoom level of the whole interface, as well as just for the background.

Speaking of background, you can upload any picture of your pleasing, adjust its size, as well as its blur and darkness levels.

SuiteTab may not be for everyone, but there’s no denying that it’s a rather good extension. It provides a set of very useful and uncomplicated productivity tools and enough customization options to keep everyone happy. All that’s left to do is try it out for yourself and see if it fits your work style.

We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used SuiteTab and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
