Tab bar clutter is something we all experience from time to time, and it doesn’t take long to realize just how much it can negatively impact our productivity while surfing the web.

Thankfully, there are dozens of remarkably efficient tab managers and similar tools out there (usually in the form of extensions) that can help you keep your tab bar as tidy as possible.

NimoTab – the easiest way towards a clean tab bar

NimoTab is one such extension, a bookmark manager by design, but it proposes a slightly different approach towards solving this problem. Instead of organizing scores of tabs in various sections, NimoTab allows you to instantly save them by cleaning your messy tab bar.

The beauty of this extension is that you can recover these tabs at any time from a nice GUI where they are organized based on the date.

Other nifty features

The extension also boasts the obligatory dark mode, to make your user experience a bit better while working in poorly lit environments. Another nice-to-have feature is the Exclusion list. This allows you to exclude tabs by hostnames and keywords.

Last but not least, it’s worth noting that NimoTab allows you to import, backup, and export your data with ease. To do this, simply go to the Preferences section and either download the backup data or import it using the designated buttons in the upper part of the GUI.

Final words

It’s safe to say that NimoTab is an interesting tab manager that should come in handy for all users who quickly want to save large numbers of tabs with one click. It may not work for everyone, therefore, give it a try-out and see if it fits your particular work style and taste or not.

We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used NimoTab and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
