Improve your productivity while you work online with the help of this simple yet effective clipboard manager specifically designed for Chrome
Installing a clipboard for your computer’s OS is definitely one of the best ways to improve your workflow, especially if you’re working with text that has to be moved from one place to another.
Usually, top tier clipboard managers do a good job of capturing everything from the clipboard, including content from browsers. However, if your daily workflow mainly revolves around Chrome, you could try a more “targeted” solution, and install a clipboard manager for said browser.
The tool in question is called Clipboard History for Chrome, and it’s as easy to use as you can imagine. In short, it saves all text history copied in the browser. Of course, the main advantage of this particular clipboard manager over a one that works system-wide is the fact that it’s a lot more accessible, easier to reach, and arguably a lot simpler.
Not the flashiest tool of the sorts, but it gets the job done
The extension features a simple, stripped-down GUI that displays all the clipboard entries, as well as the date and time they’ve been saved. At the top, there’s a button that allows you to clear all the saved clipboard entries, and at the bottom, there’s a simple search field.
As expected, a quick search will yield instant results for all items with the matching keyword. Clicking an item will automatically copy it to the clipboard, and hovering over clipboard items will display all the text content in a simple tooltip, and that’s pretty much it.
To conclude, Clipboard History for Chrome is definitely not an impressive tool. However, it works exactly as expected, it’s remarkably easy to use, quite lightweight, and unobtrusive. As mentioned before, if you work with a lot of text that has to be copy-pasted from one place to another and Chrome is your default browser, then it’s worth a shot.
We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used Clipboard History for Chrome and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
