This application can read your subtitles in the background while you watch a movie, so you can focus on the action, not on the subtitles
When watching a movie, many users tend to get distracted by the subtitles and might miss some of the action.
Titlespeak can come in handy in this situation, as it reads you the lines, so you no longer have to.
The main window of the application is not only straightforward, but also minimalist, so you only get the options that are the most necessary.
More specifically, you need to load the subtitle file (SRT and TXT files are supported), then select the voice you prefer (male or female), then start the movie and start enjoying it, while listening to the subtitles in the background.
Customize the chosen voice
No matter which voice you go for, Titlespeak allows you to adjust its speed, pitch, and volume as you see fit.
To help you check on your configuration, you can type a sentence in the dedicated field, and listen to the app while reading it. If you are not fully pleased with the settings, you can easily alter them.
Several video modes supported
To make the entire process go as smoothly as possible, you can set Titlespeak to follow the video player, so the subtitles are in sync.
So, basically, you start your favorite video player, then leave it to the app to read the correct subtitles as the movie advances. You still get to adjust the track time shift in seconds.
If for some reason, your player software is not recognized, the manual playback mode offers you the possibility to use Titlespeak as a standalone subtitle player. You can start, pause, or stop the reading process when you see fit.
To summarize, Titlespeak can come in handy when you want to make sure you are not distracted by any subtitles while watching a movie.
We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used Titlespeak and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
