Effortlessly get a quick view of all the buzzwords on any website with the help of this easy-to-use and efficient, little Chrome extension
Deemed cringe-worthy and irrelevant by some and very important in today’s social context by others, buzzwords are definitely here to stay and especially important in marketing-related fields.
If you don’t know what buzzwords are, think of them as being words or phrases that have a certain hype around them (usually they sound impressive or cool) and not everyone always understands them straight away.
If you want to “get with the times” and learn some new buzzwords, then you’re in luck as there are dozens of lists with thousands of buzzwords on the Internet. Or, you could use New Work Buzzwords to analyze every website you visit and add a bit more context to the whole learning process.
How does it work?
At heart, New Work Buzzwords is your typical Google Chrome extension: easy to install from the Chrome Web Store, sits in Chrome’s toolbar, and has a simple function and a straightforward GUI.
The way it works is simple: the extension simply compares all the words on the website to those in the buzzword database and highlights them in case they match. To use it simply click its icon, accept the data terms, and click the scan button.
The extension will display a list of all the buzzwords found on the website which you can view in the GUI, and all the found words will also be highlighted on the website. That’s all.
Clearly, this is somewhat of a niche extension, but we’re sure it can become popular with people either interested in boosting engagement online or just generally passionate about the concept of “millennial marketing.”
We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used New Work Buzzwords and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
