Manage Your Personal Finances, Keep Track of All Transactions, Plan Your Budget and Control Your Expenses, with This Easy-To-Use App
Planning for the future is never easy, especially when you can’t seem to be able to get your personal finances under control. It is difficult to keep track of where your money is going and rein in your spending unless you have a clear understanding of what is going on.
BudgetTail can help you out in this regard, as it centralizes all your financial information and displays the data in an intuitive form, enabling you to see how your spending habits have changed over time and how the future is shaping up.
Multiple graphic data representations that paint a clear picture of the situation
As soon as you launch BudgetTail, you are presented with the Summary tab, which displays two pie charts that summarize your transactions based on category and payee. You can click a specific section to view a detailed account of your activities, as well as perform any necessary modifications.
The application also draws a graph that highlights the evolution of your finances over the last month or year.
Manage multiple accounts and organize transactions into relevant categories
BudgetTail makes it easy to keep everything in check, as you can create any number of accounts to manage your credit cards, savings and so on. Transactions can then be placed in user-defined categories, so you can see where your money is going at a glance.
Moreover, bank statements can be imported from OFC, OFX and QFX files, saving you a lot of time that would otherwise have gone into inputting the data manually.
Schedule transactions and view a forecast of your budget
Reoccurring payments or deposits can be added quite easily, and the application can use this data to generate a detailed budget forecast that shows you the predicted evolution of each of your accounts for a user-defined period in the form of a graph.
Overall, BudgetTail is a relatively simple application, but it may be just the tool you need to get your finances under control. It offers pretty much all the features you might expect to find in a finance management app, although a more stylish interface would increase its appeal.
We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used BudgetTail for Mac and it worked pretty smoothly:) 🙂
