Play Audio Files from Your Computer, Record New Ones and Connect Vst Plugins by Turning to This Lightweight Application that Requires Minimal Configuration

If you’re a sound engineer, producer or simply music aficionado, you probably understand and appreciate the importance of having the appropriate tools at the right time.

For instance, VSTStuff is a third-party software solution that can help you enjoy audio tracks, record new ones or connect VST plugins in a quick, convenient manner.

Simple interface

As soon as you launch it, the application will notify you if you don’t have any recording device that is connected to your computer. The main window hosts a series of controls that can be understood without significant efforts.

The upper part lets you open and close audio files that can be played and also load or unload VST effects or plugins, while the bottom part lets you perform an audio recording and provides you with playback controls.

Multi-purpose audio tool

Hypothetically, VSTStuff enables you to play audio files from your computer, perform audio recordings and connect VST effects or plugins directly through the application. However, during our testing on Windows 10, 8.1 and 7, the program couldn’t play any audio file, regardless of its format, size or name.

More so, if you decide to connect a recording device after launching the application, you need to restart it, as it will not be recognized without restarting the program.

Lets you adjust a bunch of settings

Furthermore, the application provides you with a configuration window where you can adjust a few settings according to your needs by simply choosing the appropriate value from their corresponding combo menus.

Among the settings that can be configured you can find playback device, WaveRec sample rate, record device, WaveRec Bits / Sample, record file format and WaveRec buffer size.

Lightweight multi-purpose audio tool that comes with functionality issues

All things considered, VSTStuff is a handy tool that can help you record audio files and store them into your computer and connect VST effects and plugins. It has playback functions but playing an audio file was impossible during our testing.

We at AppsForMyPC have tested and used VSTStuff and it worked pretty smoothly 🙂 🙂
